The Sanctuary BNE is a Brisbane-based online store with deep roots in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Founded by Kiwi local Mel Young, the brand brings together meaningful treasures from home — from genuine New Zealand Greenstone (pounamu) and Kama Perfume to hand-picked crystals, sterling silver jewellery, and other nostalgic Kiwi favourites.

The story of The Sanctuary began in New Zealand over 30 years ago. Originally run by family friends, it was later purchased by Mel’s family around 14 years ago, growing into multiple locations and spreading Good Vibes across the country.

In 2018, Mel launched The Sanctuary BNE in Australia to continue that legacy — creating a place where Kiwis abroad (and anyone drawn to the beauty of Aotearoa) can find authentic, nostalgia-filled pieces that connect them to home.
